Online calculator which will help you in solving linear inequalities.
Solve the inequality to find all values of component variable, or prove that none exists.
Three rules in solving linear inequalities:
1). Any member of the inequality can be transferred from one part of the inequality to the other, changing the sign on the opposite (i.e. when transferring the sign of the inequality signs when terms are changed to the opposite).
2). Both sides of an inequality you can multiply/divide by the same positive number, thus get the inequality, tantamount given.
3). Both sides of an inequality you can multiply/divide by the same negative number, changing the inequality sign to the opposite one (i.e. the > sign> sign <<and Vice versa; the sign ≥≥ on the sign ≤≤, and Vice versa).
